Departments

ADDIE HOLMAN ( Volunteer Theater Department Head) has been teaching musical theater for 25+ years. She has directed well over 200 productions at Utah theaters such as CenterPoint Theater, Park City Egyptian Theater, The SLCC Grand, Backstage Performing Arts, Pages Lane Theater, Rogers Memorial Theater, Bountiful Performing Arts Center, and several local schools. She created and ran 5 separate musical theater youth programs in Davis County because she feels kids can learn so many life skills from theater. She has soloed with the San Francisco Symphony, recorded vocal tracks for Kurt Bestor, has performed all over the state of Utah, and often can be found singing the national anthem at Real Salt Lake Soccer games. She graduated from VHS as the 1997 Sterling Scholar in Theater and then studied musical theater and Shakespeare at Adelaide College in Cambridge University, England.

LILLIAN WILKINS (Volunteer Choir Department Head) has had the privilege of singing with world renowned choral conductors from her time in various choirs including BYU Singers and The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. She has received training in choral conducting through classes and private lessons from professional choral conductors.

Lillian has performed and recorded as a soloist and with multiple groups nationally and internationally. She most recently was a soloist in a production of Lamb of God. She runs her own private voice studio. Her passion is teaching - in her voice studio, in AIM choir, and most of all her own children in her home. Her ability to connect with students, coupled with her depth of knowledge and thoughtful teaching approach, is her offering of hope for a rich experience for those participating.
Participation Expenses
Tuition
We have yearly tuition/fees that cover class supplies and organizational upkeep. This expense will vary depending on which classes your child chooses and the ages of your children. Please contact us for more specifics for your personal family.
Uniforms
Official AIM shirts or sweaters are generally worn as part of weekly classes. They are specifically required for picture days, Coyote Camp, field trips, spirit days, and particular performances. These shirts or sweatshirts are generally ordered yearly, and before camp, although we may have additional purchases available from time to time. They have our official logo on the front or back. When required outside of our school day, they are used in part for safety, and make it easy for us to identify children and adults from our group.
Costumes
Theater may require costumes as part of participation. These costume requirements will be sent out by our director specific for that play. Check the Band Page for specific costume requirements. Our director may also send you a direct message about costume requirements for specific roles. These costumes may include specific clothing, hair/wig, makeup, and accessories.
Field Trips, Mother’s Retreat, and Other Opportunities
We have many optional educational and enrichment experiences available each year. These are open to all of our members. Sign ups are on our private group page.
